Weapons Aren't Scary...
They're Just Another Tool
I think one of the things that TFT clients appreciate most about our system is the fact that we clearly define what most people see as weapons fighting. Whether its knife fighting, club fighting, stick fighting, firearms or any of the other tools that are out there, people think in and of itself this requires a specific way of training.
We cut right through that and help everybody understand that if it works with the methods and the principles we teach from day one, if it works with just your body tools... your fists, your legs, your knees, your elbows, any of those types of strikes we teach you, if it works with these, then it’ll work just as well when we have you put another tool in your hand.
The key TFT concept at play here is the universal principle that there’s one weapon and one weapon only that all humans possess... and that’s your brain. The only thing that truly makes you dangerous is your brain. And that this one weapon alone allows you to get the most out of all these other tools.
At TFT there’s no such thing as knife fighting. What we will teach you instead is how to fight with a knife. We will teach you how to fight with a club. We will teach you how to put these tools in your hands and get the most out of them.
But we understand also that the only reason that you put anything in your hands is because it gives you an ability to do something that your bare hands can’t do. We don’t put things in our hands because they make you dangerous. We don’t put those things in our hands because we think they give you some magical power whatsoever.
The only thing a tool can give us is an ability to increase the trauma we can deliver. Always remember... just having an active brain is enough for us to be dangerous.
Also, the only thing that makes anybody else dangerous is the fact that they have an active brain. That’s why its critical you understand that as long as that other individual can think or make decisions, he’s dangerous whether he has something in his hands or not!
Now as far as TFT goes, we show you the most effective way to use any tools that you can put in your hands. And we show you the way to get the most out of the trauma that you can create with these injuries. Nothing is held back. And the ways we use tools are the ways that they work when you’re using them in the real world of violence... not in any of the Hollywood stuff that you see.
We don’t show you inefficient movements that are structurally unsound, biomechanically incorrect or can put you in any danger whatsoever. We only show you ways to use these tools to get the guaranteed results that come from targeting another human being and creating the trauma that you want by destroying those targets.
