Military

Because every close combat situation is resolved by violence one way or another, we train you to use violence as a tool. That means teaching you to injure, up to and including lethal force, when that is what your job requires. We give the training you need to conclude engagements decisively and quickly.

Being an expert at using violence means you decide when you want to injure or kill, or how to be sure you don’t. When you open your toolbox of violence, you find it full of options. Knowing the results you want allows you to find the appropriate tool for the job, putting you in control of the final outcome.

Simply put, we show you how to be equally effective whether you are armed or empty-handed. We show you how to integrate all your tools—firearms, knives, fists and boots into a seamless whole.

Through decades of training professionals and civilians, we distilled close combat down to one very simple idea: when you injure people, you control them. By coupling our expertise in violence with our teaching and training methodologies we transfer this knowledge to you quickly, seamlessly and effectively.

The skills taught are as applicable to experienced combat veterans as they are to new trainees. We deliver a basic and easily-learned education that “rings true” for the experienced and puts the focus back on you, and your expertise.

Target Focus Training provides you with a quickly learned skill set that translates to rapidly improved field performance.

Law Enforcement

As a law-enforcement professional, violence is an ever-present concern. In the last reporting period, 443 officers were murdered with handguns in the line of duty. Of those, 46 officers had weapons stripped off them and were murdered with their own firearm. These were weapons-free situations, with both the threat and the solution staring the officer dead in the eye.

We show you how to avoid having this happen to you, just by changing how you approach the problem. Namely, you take the focus off of retaining your weapon, and put it on injuring the other guy. Because he is ultimately only interested in hurting you, we’ll teach you how to focus only on injuring him.

As a lethal force option, Target Focus Training is, in many ways, the only lethal tool that is capable of de-escalating once employed. This approach allows an agent to control the suspect, eliminate the threat, and save lives in scenarios that historically lead to gunfire and suspect (or officer) fatalities.

The ideas of weapon retention, arrest procedure, and your force continuum are crafted into a program that exponentially increases your effectiveness in your operating environment. You learn to use violence to control suspects when necessary, and understand how the injuries you inflict work to leave a violent criminal nonfunctional. We teach you how to apply lethal force when required, and how to avoid using lethal force when it isn’t appropriate.

Understanding injury means you are prepared for any violent situation, on the job or off.
